On October 1, 2023, the ACIT-Mensa Conference on The Neuroscience of Mental Health took place at Geneva University. Over 200 people gathered to explore various aspects of mental well-being throughout the day. Benjamin Bargetzi, our Founder and President, had the privilege of moderating the day’s discussions, bringing his own background in psychology into the mix.

Our lineup of speakers was truly exceptional, and we welcomed internationally renowned experts in psychology and neuroscience from France, Germany, and Switzerland, as well as clinical psychotherapists and psychiatrists. They tackled a wide range of mental health topics, making the day both enlightening and informative.

The discussions covered topics around emotional intelligence, mental health, hypersensitivity, and the connections between IQ and mental health issues. Attendees further received practical advice on boosting emotional resilience from clinical experts – a skill we definitely all need in our lives. A big thank you to the Mensa team for this great event, which made us think back to the amazing collaboration of ACIT Global and Mensa Switzerland in 2022, where we had likewise launched a major conference on the differences between biological and artificial intelligence together.
