Kenya – ACIT Global Conference

We are excited to announce a new ACIT Global conference happening for the first time in Africa, organized in collaboration with the Aga Khan University Graduate School of Media and Communications (GSMC). Scheduled for 2024, this conference will be hosted at the cutting-edge Innovation Centre of Aga Khan University (AKU) in Nairobi.

As a leading institution, the Aga Khan University in Nairobi is renowned for providing high-quality education and offering tailored training for journalists, communicators, media executives and entrepreneurs not only in East Africa but globally.

The conference’s central theme will revolve around innovation, entrepreneurship and digital transformation in media, exploring the viability and resilience of the East African media industry within the global context of a rapidly changing media landscape.

The organizing team, comprised of nominees from both ACIT and AKU, is hard at work finalizing potential topics and identifying high-profile speakers for this conference. With their dedicated efforts, the team is confident in their ability to deliver an impactful and successful event that will ignite a passion for research, foster academic networking and open doors to enriching internship opportunities.
